Terms & Conditions
By making a purchase on snoutino.com via the "Add to cart" button (using a credit card or PayPal account), the customer accepts the following terms and conditions of sale.
1. Consumer protection legislation
The applicable consumer protection legislation governs your rights as a buyer. The most relevant provisions for the benefit of the customer are summarised below.
2. Consumer rights in summary
Conformity obligation
The seller is obliged to deliver goods that conform to the contract of sale. All consumers (individuals purchasing for purposes unrelated to their professional activity) are entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity.
The legal guarantee applies when the product:
- is not fit for the purpose for which goods of the same type are normally used;
- does not conform to the description provided at the time of sale;
- does not possess the usual qualities and performance of goods of the same type;
- is not fit for the particular purpose declared by the seller at the time of sale.
Duration of the guarantee
The legal guarantee of conformity lasts 24 months from delivery. The consumer must report any defects within 2 months of discovering them. In total, the consumer may exercise their rights within 26 months of purchase.
Available remedies
In the event of a conformity defect, the consumer is entitled to:
- repair or replacement of the goods, free of charge;
- a price reduction or contract termination, in cases provided for by law.
The choice between repair and replacement is the consumer's, unless the remedy requested is objectively impossible or excessively burdensome.
How to activate the guarantee
Within two months of discovering the defect, the customer must contact us at support@snoutino.com, attaching proof of purchase and photographic documentation of the problem. Once the validity of the request is confirmed, we will communicate the repair or replacement arrangements within a reasonable timeframe.
Right of withdrawal
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without penalty and without providing any reason. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to personalised or custom-made products, nor to goods which by their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate rapidly.
3. General conditions of sale
Purchase and payment methods
Purchases are made through snoutino.com by selecting the product and proceeding to payment by credit card or PayPal account.
Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may not perfectly represent the final product in terms of colour or details.
Snoutino reserves the right not to confirm an order, notifying the customer promptly.
Invoicing
An invoice must be requested at the time of purchase. For business customers, please provide your VAT number or company details in the order notes.
Delivery
Snoutino accepts orders for delivery to the destinations listed in our Shipping Policy. Delivery costs, where applicable, are indicated at the time of order.
Upon delivery, the customer must check:
- that the packaging is intact and undamaged;
- that the number of items matches what is indicated on the delivery note.
Any damage or irregularities must be immediately contested with the carrier by noting a written reservation on the delivery documentation. We recommend photographing the packaging before opening, even if it appears intact.
If the parcel is not collected within 7 business days of being held by the carrier, the order may be cancelled and any costs incurred charged to the customer.
Product damaged in transit
If a product is found to be damaged during transit, the customer must document the damage photographically (packaging and contents) and contact us within 24 hours at support@snoutino.com. Once the carrier's liability is established, Snoutino will arrange replacement or repair at no cost to the customer.
Refusal of goods
If the carrier refuses to allow a signed reservation, the customer has the right to refuse delivery.
Purchases with vouchers or during promotional periods
Orders placed with discount codes or during promotional campaigns may be cancelled but not modified, unless otherwise agreed.
